Creating 2D Views

2D Views can be created in both the Mobile application and the Browser's 2D Viewer.

To create a View in the Browser's 2D Viewer

  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

  2. Go to the Explorer page.

  3. Select a 2D file by selecting clicking anywhere in the row.
    The detail panel will open on the right-side.

  4. Click the View button.
    The 2D Viewer will open in a new tab.

  5. Adjust the document to any position that you would like to capture a view of.

  6. Open the Views Panel.

  7. Click the Add view button (located in the panel header).

8. The New View panel opens.

9. Add the name and description. Click Save.

Creating 3D Views

3D Views can be created in the Mobile application, Windows application and the Browser's 3D Viewer.

To create a View in the Browser's 3D Viewer

  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

  2. Go to the Explorer page.

  3. Select a 3D file by selecting clicking anywhere in the row.
    The detail panel will open on the right-side.

  4. Click the View button.
    The 3D Viewer will open in a new tab.

  5. Adjust the model to any position that you would like to capture a view of.

  6. Click the Add view button in the toolbar.

7. The New View panel opens.

8. Add the name and description. Click Save.
