Managing Tags

The Tags page under the Project Settings is where Project Admins can manage tags inside the project.

All tags that have been created / added to objects will be listed on this page. Only project admins can edit or delete tags.

Tag Color

The tag color feature is only supported with BCF Topics.

To change the tag color

  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

  2. Go to the Settings › Tags page.

  3. Click the color dropdown menu.

  4. Select the desired color.

  5. Click Save.

Edit Tags

If you are a project admin, you can update tag names.

To edit the tag name

  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

  2. Go to the Settings › Tags page.

  3. Click the Edit (pencil) button.

  4. A dialog will open.

  5. Make the necessary changes.

  6. Click Save.

Delete Tags

CAUTION: Deleting tags cannot be undone. Deleting a tag will remove it from all objects in the project.

To delete a tag

  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

  2. Go to the Settings › Tags page.

  3. Click the Delete (X) button.

  4. A dialog will open to confirm deletion.

  5. Click Delete.
