Project Boundary
Overview
Add a location to your project by drawing a boundary or inputing boundary coordinates.
Before you have drawn or added your boundary, the map will automatically be centered on the region that corresponds to the project's server location.
Boundary requirements:
Boundaries must consist of a minimum of 3 points and maximum of 75 points
Boundaries must be a closed polygon
Boundaries cannot intersect themselves
When inputing boundary coordinates:
Specify coordinates as pairs of decimal values.
Latitude should be specified before longitude.
Use delimiters such as commas, spaces or new lines between values. Example:
9.96374458074611 60.2163758476343,
11.7215570807472 59.798998863886,
10.1395258307463 59.5326695608194
Add a Project Boundary
Project boundaries can be added by either drawing a polygon on the map or by inputing a list of coordinates.
To draw a project boundary:
Open the project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Go to the Settings › Project Details page.
Pan and zoom the map to the desired location.
Click on the Edit button.
Click Draw Boundary on Map.
Draw the boundary by clicking points on the map.
To complete the boundary click on the first point added or double click on the map.
Click Save changes (located at the top of the page).
To input boundary coordinates:

Click on the Edit button.
Click Input Boundary Coordinates.
A dialog will open.Enter or paste the coordinates into the text field. Click Ok.
The dialog will close and your boundary will be drawn on the map.Click Save changes (located at the top of the page).
