How to set Date and Time Format Preferences
Within the Connect for Browser, you will be able to select the Date and time formats from the “My Profile” > Preferences . Your saved settings will reflect in Connect for Mobile and Connect for Windows clients as well.
NOTE : The default date format will continue to be MMM DD, YYYY (e.g. Jan 20, 2022) until you have selected a particular format from the user profile.
Format Options
Available options for Date and Time formats are
Date Display Format:
DD-MMM-YYYY
DD-MM-YYYY
MMM DD, YYYY
MM-DD-YYYY
YYYY-MMM-DD
YYYY-MM-DD
Time Display Format
12hr(HH12:MI:SS AM/PM)
12hr(HH12:MI AM/PM)
24hr(HH24:MI:SS)
24hr(HH24:MI)
Where will the changes reflect in Connect for Browser
Based on your preference , the date and time will be displayed uniformly within the Connect for Browser application. For example , if the selected format is YYYY-MMM-DD , the display in Files and Folders,Topics, Views, Activity feed, 3D Viewer (including the custom properties) , Todos (as illustrated below) and in Account Admin dashboard (if you are an Account administrator) .
Limitations
The user preferred date and time preferences will NOT reflect in the following -
Custom date filters (since these have calendar based date selection).
Data exported to Excel from Connect for Browser.
Email notifications from Connect.
