Editing, Closing & Deleting Topics
Edit a Topic
Unless you are a Project Administrator, you can only edit Topics that you have created or that have been assigned to you. The editable fields are the Title, Description, Due date, Type, Priority, Status, Assignee, Tags and References.
To edit a Topic
Open your project Trimble Connect for Browser.
Go to the BCF Topics page.
Select the Topic you want to edit.
The detail panel will open on the right-side.Click the Edit (pencil) button.
The Topic detail panel switches to Editing Mode, where editing of all fields are enabled.
Make the desired changes.
Click Save.
Close a Topic
When the work of a Topic is complete, you can easily mark the item as done by changing the Topic status.
To keep the Topics listing manageable, project admins can set individual statuses to “Inactive”. This will remove the topic from the main active list.
Delete a Topic
Only the creator of a Topic or the Project Administrator can delete Topics.
CAUTION: Deleting Topics from the project cannot be undone. Deleting the Topic will delete it for everyone it was assigned to and all the data as well.
To delete a Topic
Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.
Go to the BCF Topics page.
Select the Topic you want to delete.
The detail panel will open on the right-side.Click the Delete button located in the detail panel.
A confirmation dialog will appear.
Click Delete.
