Unit Settings

Project units are stored in a universal format - which allows project users to define how they would like to see the units displayed. Unit settings can be changed in the Trimble Connect applications.

Trimble Connect has expanded unit settings for the project system and allows users to specify display precision on each unit e.g. Length, Area, Volume Angle and Measurements Length.

To set the project units

  1. Open your project in Trimble Connect for Browser.

  2. Go to the Settings › Units page.

  3. Select the Unit system: Imperial, Metric, or Custom.

  4. Select the unit of measure and display precision for distance, area, volume, weight and angle.

  5. When you are finished, click Save changes.
